Breakdown Media is a photography and graphic design group that was originally created around August of 2007 by Daniel Hailey, and Will Nelms. Their first photo album was launched around August of 2007 on the popular social networking website Myspace. All of the photos were heavilly watermarked, almost too watermarked. The two eventually faded apart and Breakdown went unattended for around two months, all the while the album stayed online drawing minimal attention from friends and family. Long time friend John Ashley then joined in on Breakdown. Eventually, Daniel met Trey Adcox, and the two then began work on completely re-working the entire organization. The original album was removed from Myspace, and the profile page had its layout changed to entirely white with the words “UNDER CONSTRUCTION” in large black letters. The two began work on obtaining an actual website, to break away from the limitations of using Myspace. Eventually Daniel began work on a new photo album. The white layout was taken down and replaced by a black layout, with white text that glowed blue. When one went to the page, the only option to contact Breakdown was to click the giant “ADD” button. Above the button, the page read “Spread the word, Tell your friends.” All other features of the page were disabled. Breakdown began working on promotions and fliers for local events in the area, gaining more popularity. When they finally obtained the website, breakdown-media.com, they opened the site, launched the album (which was given the name “Figure 1.1.”), and re-designed / enabled the Myspace page. The album didnt draw too much attention at first. The group gained more attention through their flier designs and profile layouts than their actual photography. The group eventually brought on long time friend Tyler Floyd to the crew. Around the end of September, Daniel and Trey created a new photo album, “The Missing Piece.” With the launch of their new album, they decided to launch a brand new website, breakdownmedia.com, in place of the old site. Around this time, the group began getting noticed by other photography and design companies. At this time, the group has been offered a spot in a major design company, thus leading the group to step up their game. We’ll see what happens in the near, very near future.

Big things are coming.
